HOW IT WORKS

Perhaps you’ve always dreamed of earning your associate in nursing degree, but never thought you had the time to do it. Maybe you’ve taken college courses but had to set your studies aside for awhile. Or, maybe now you’re finally ready to take the next step on the career ladder and become an RN.

Working adults can earn an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree in an accelerated program that understands their needs and goals as well as the obstacles that they face. The Flexible Learning Process (FLP) is a successful alternative to the traditional college experience.

Career Learning Centers (CLC) helps adult learners earn credit toward their ASN degree, which is awarded by Excelsior College, a regionally accredited, nationally recognized institution of higher education. Career Learning Centers was founded on the principles of delivering quality healthcare training to meet the needs of non-traditional learners. The classes provide the necessary structure and support to ensure successful completion of the state exams for licensure. The classroom environment helps you keep your focus without interruptions from work and family obligations.

Additionally, Career Learning Centers provides custom published Quick Reference Guides and Workbooks or Lecture Notes to further enhance the learning process.

Becoming an RN Starts Now

	Attend a free information seminar and receive an academic assessment to determine what subjects you need to complete your nursing degree. The consultant will identify any subjects you’ve previously taken that may be transferrable into Excelsior’s program.

	Superior face-to-face tutoring in classrooms averaging 12 nursing students, from highly-experienced professionals, coupled with the Flexible Learning Process, will prepare you to pass standardized Excelsior College exams as well as CLEP and Dantes exams.

	Enroll with Excelsior College and transfer previosuly earned credits.

	Prepare for and pass any remaining exams, using Career Learning Centers' Flexible Learning Process and custom published materials.

	Upon satisfying all curriculum requirements, Career Learning Centers will also assist in preparing nursing students weekend clinical examination in the clinical prepatory class.

	Graduate with an Associate of Science in Nursing Degree from Excelsior College.

	Prepare for and pass your state’s NCLEX-RN exam, using the Career Learning Centers' NCLEX prep class.
